I’ve been thinking again about everything, my career, my coding, my pets, and my life. I love programming and I always have. My first ever computer was a Tandy Color Computer 3 which was equipped with the BASIC programming language just like the Commodre 64. The Commodre was more desireable but my parents got me the Tandy straight from Radio Shack that came with a cassette player to save programs to no floppy disks. You could buy the floppy seperate but back then it was lots of money and after buying me a computer I didn’t want to get my parentsa spend more so I made the cassette player work for time being. No I didn’t write anything special just something me and a friend tried to create, a Nightmare on Elm street game. All we did was the freddy Kreuger character and nothing else because it was getting late and his mother had come to pick him up. That’s part of why I got into programming is because of times like that, just sitting around and trying to create something you haven’t seen before.Good Times.

I’ve been taking some time to just think and organize my thoughts in my free time because it helps me to organize my thoughts in order to think more clearly. I was thinking, I am a stutter I grew up stuttering. I don’t do much anymore of course probably because I am 46 years old and I’m not as fearful of talking to others and making phone calls either.Well I just recently got to do some reading about Sir Issac Newton and he’s an interesting character and he was supposedly a stutterer too. I recently found a blog about whether Issac Newton stuttered or not.Here is the link for those interested.So as you can see those are the ideals that float in my mind along with the ideal of whether He-Man could use his strength to knock the moon out of orbit if he has to in order to save the planet. I also wonder if Battlecat eats regular catfood or the specialty kind.

I’ve been exploring my JavaScript side recently, mostly using Vue.Js which is a competitor to ReactJS which as you may or maynot know if a frontend framework created and used by FaceBook. I enjoy React and I enjoy it but recently I’ve been reading up on Vue a bit and so far it looks very cool to so I just have to tinker with it a bit just so I can see if I do like it as much as I believe I will. I’ve programmed with JavaScript for over 20 years and sometimes I feel like I’m just scratching the surface of what I can do with it. Originally, I wanted to create games with JavaScript so you could start a browser and play games and I haven’t given up on that dream so you can be planning on seeing me trying to do that at some point and probably my first game with be, “Sir Pitt and the Kingdom of Bone” which as you know is a story I’m creating about an orphan dog who discovers that he is desacendant from royalty and the greatest hero the village has even known and he discovers his own courage and helps free his Kingdon from violent invaders just like his ancestor did hundreds of years ago.

Ok everyone, I’m back for a new post. Lately, I’ve been job hunting and so far it’s been interesting. I’ve learned a lot about myself and the state of the job market. It’s been fun discovering how much the job market has changed since my last big job hunt years ago and I’ve discovered it’s better and less complicated and I’ve discovered that Ruby on rails is a big in demand skillset to have along with something called Fullstack which I’ve discoved is kinda like design web applications with several web frameworks like Rails and Javascript or even Django with React with another web technology. I’ve discovered that in all my career in web design, I have always used things like Ruby on rail with javascript or PHP with Javascript or even something else with other added technologies. It’s really cool.
